In conjunction with the decision to establish the University College of Iraq 2004 Central Library was established in 2005
The library draws its presence and objectives from the university itself.Therefore, its objectives are part of the university’s objectives.The mission is an integral part of the university’s mission which is focused on education, research and community service.The library at the university serves as the heart for it.It provides its services to students, researchers and professors of the university.
The library currently supervises technically libraries of the university formations and provide expertise and technical advice for the purpose of development

Upgrading the level of the library to be one of the libraries that match the Arab and international libraries and become an evolving center for the dissemination of information and knowledge to achieve the university’s educational, research and community goals.
